Sister companies
The Silux group
Silux Call is the phone system, and that is what this site is about. Three sister companies sit around it: Silux Voice, the AI that answers your calls; Silux Chat, the AI that answers your messages on the web and WhatsApp; and Silux Mobile, the connectivity underneath. Separate companies, separate checkouts — this page explains who does what, so you can buy the one piece you actually need.
Category 1 · AI answering
Silux Voice — the AI receptionist
Silux Voice answers the phone when nobody can. Not a voicemail box and not a menu tree — a conversation that qualifies the caller and books the work while they are still on the line. Its own framing is worth borrowing: Silux Voice is the AI, Silux Call is the line it runs on. You can point it at a number you already have.
What it does
First-ring pickup, unlimited simultaneous calls, and it still answers while you are already on the line — no busy tone, no hold music.
Takes the appointment into your calendar and pushes the qualified lead into your CRM while the caller is still on the phone.
A per-caller memory profile: it greets returning callers by name, references the last conversation, and does not re-ask what it already knows.
Including voice cloning, with sub-second end-to-end latency so the conversation does not feel like a queue system.
How it charges
The genuinely unusual part. Most AI receptionists bill per minute or per call, so you pay whether or not the call ever became work. Silux Voice's headline plan charges per booked job — no job, no charge — which is how a trades business prices its own work.
| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Free trial | Free | 14 days, no card required |
| Pay per booked job | Free | No monthly fee — you pay only when it books you work |
| Starter | $24.99/mo | Solo operators and small teams |
| Growth | $49.99/mo | Growing teams |
| Professional | $99.99/mo | Established businesses |
| Business | $249.99/mo | Higher volume and multi-site |
Indicative, shown in USD as listed; Silux Voice prices in local currency. See Silux Voice pricing for current figures.
Where it overlaps with Silux Call
Silux Call also has an AI receptionist of its own, so the two are not strictly complementary — you would generally pick one. The honest split: choose Silux Voice if AI answering is the product you want, especially on the pay-per-booked-job model or with a cloned voice. Choose Silux Call if you want a full phone system — numbers, routing, queues, recording, analytics, multiple staff — with AI answering as one feature among many. Running both is a valid setup: Silux Voice fronting the calls, Silux Call carrying and recording them.
Category 2 · AI messaging
Silux Chat — AI chatbots for web & WhatsApp
Silux Chat is the same idea as Silux Voice but for text: an AI that handles the conversations arriving by message rather than by phone, on your website and on WhatsApp, in 50+ languages. Its stated design goal is unusual and worth repeating — bots that read a customer's frustration and reply with empathy, rather than looping them through a deflection menu. You can watch it work on this very site: the chat widget on Silux Call pages is Silux Chat.
What you get
Trained on your business, answers instantly in 50+ languages, and is built to read frustration and reply with empathy rather than canned deflection.
The official Meta Cloud API: automated replies, lead qualification, bulk campaigns and commerce on one number — no app for the customer to install.
Your team takes over any conversation in one click; the bot handles the rest and hands back seamlessly.
Done-for-you build and training if you would rather not, plus real-time reporting on conversations, satisfaction and resolution.
What it costs
The free tier is a real one rather than a countdown: 1,000 messages a month and two chatbots, no card. Paid tiers are flat monthly with no per-seat charge and no per-resolution fee — the model most live-chat vendors use to make costs spike exactly when you get busy. Yearly billing is advertised at three months free.
| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | 1,000 messages/month and 2 chatbots — no card, no trial clock |
| Starter | $9/mo | Small sites getting started |
| Growth | $29/mo | Growing volume |
| Pro | $69/mo | Established teams |
| Enterprise | Custom | Higher volume and bespoke needs |
Indicative — see Silux Chat pricing for current figures. UK-based with GDPR data residency.
Where it overlaps with Silux Call
Very little, which is why the two sit together well. Silux Call handles voice — numbers, routing, queues, recording. Silux Chat handles text — website chat and WhatsApp. A common setup is Silux Chat catching the enquiries that would never have picked up the phone, and Silux Call handling the ones that do.
Category 3 · Connectivity
Silux Mobile — SIM cards & broadband
Silux Mobile sells the connection rather than anything that runs on it: SIM-only plans, data SIMs and mobile broadband on Three, O2, Vodafone and EE.
SIM-only
| Plan | Network | Term | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| Multi-network data SIM (500MB) | Three / Vodafone / O2 | 12 months | £3.98/mo |
| Multi-network data SIM (1GB) | Three / Vodafone / O2 | 12 months | £4.75/mo |
| Unlimited data SIM | Three | 24 months | £14.95/mo |
| Unlimited calls, texts & data | Three | 24 months | £15.95/mo |
| Unlimited data SIM | Three | Pay & Go, month to month | £17.95/mo |
The multi-network data SIMs are the ones worth knowing about: they attach to whichever of Three, Vodafone or O2 is strongest at that location instead of being locked to one operator — useful for unattended kit like card terminals, CCTV, telemetry and backup routers, where one weak local cell means an outage nobody notices. Current SIM-only deals.
Mobile broadband
Router-based broadband for a home or small office.
Pocket router — takes the connection to sites and events.
Keeps working through a power cut.
Broadband over the mobile network, so no engineer visit and no line install — often the only practical option for rural sites, caravans, holiday lets and short-term offices. The battery-backed option matters if you run a cloud phone system: an internet phone stops working in a power cut, and Ofcom expects providers to say so. Check coverage at your postcode first — performance depends on local signal.
Category 4 · How they fit together
Which one do you need?
Common questions
What is Silux Voice?
Silux Voice (siluxvoice.com) is a sister company selling an AI receptionist. It answers calls around the clock, books appointments live into your calendar, captures and qualifies leads into your CRM, remembers callers between calls, and speaks 23+ languages with 40+ voices including a cloned version of your own.
What is the difference between Silux Voice and Silux Call?
Silux Voice is the AI that answers the call. Silux Call is the phone system the call arrives on — business numbers, call routing, IVR, recording, queues and analytics. They are separate products from separate companies: you can run Silux Voice on a line you already have, run Silux Call with human staff answering, or use both together.
How does Silux Voice charge?
Its distinguishing model is pay-per-booked-job: no monthly fee on that plan, and you are charged when the AI actually books you work rather than per minute or per call like most AI receptionists. There are also fixed monthly tiers from $24.99/month, and a 14-day free trial with no card.
What is Silux Chat?
Silux Chat (siluxchat.com) is the messaging company in the group: human-like AI chatbots for your website and WhatsApp, in 50+ languages, with live-chat handover to your team, the official WhatsApp Business API, analytics and optional managed bot-building. UK-based with GDPR data residency, and there is a genuinely free plan of 1,000 messages a month and 2 chatbots with no card.
Is Silux Chat related to the chat widget on this site?
Yes — the chat and WhatsApp widget you can see on Silux Call pages is powered by Silux Chat. It is the same product any customer can put on their own site.
What is Silux Mobile?
Silux Mobile (siluxmobile.co.uk) is the connectivity company in the group: SIM-only plans on Three, O2, Vodafone and EE, multi-network data SIMs, and mobile broadband. It sells the data connection; it is not a phone system.
Do I have to buy all three?
No, and most customers do not. They are separate companies with separate checkouts. Silux Call runs over any internet connection and works with human answering or with any AI receptionist. Buy only the piece you actually need.
Which one do I need if I keep missing calls?
If calls are ringing out because nobody is free, that is an answering problem — Silux Voice. If the issue is routing, hold queues, out-of-hours rules, recording or wanting a proper business number, that is a phone-system problem — Silux Call. If the office connection itself is the weak link, that is Silux Mobile.
Here for the phone system?
That is Silux Call — hosted PBX, AI receptionist, live transcription, call recording and analytics, with a permanently free seat to start. It runs over whatever internet connection you already have.
