What is PSTN switch-off?
The PSTN switch-off is the planned UK retirement of the analogue telephone network by BT Openreach, completing on 31 January 2027, after which all landlines must run over IP.
Many Openreach exchanges are already on stop-sell, so new analogue lines cannot be ordered. Silux Call ships a free per-line PSTN audit and WLR2 migration plan with every account.
